Background Story of Roleplay at Nostitz

Come to visit European past! Visit our 18th century themed RP sim where Austrian monarchy rules by terror and fear and where houmble citisens are so desperate that they join lines of rebels to actually do something about it! We present you the Principality of Nostitz

Our story takes place during the seven year war which broke out in 1756. The United Kingdom, Prussia and Hannoversko were in conflict against France, Russia and Saxony. The Habsburg monarchy bears a considerable burden of fighting against Prussia. Our story takes place in the Italian city of Trieste, which after years of oppression, recovered partial autonomy from the Habsburg Empire. The city is ruled by the Prussian aristocrat ThomasK Andel who is the official Austrian oppressor earning the nickname "Iron Governor". The new ruler seeks to ensure order by any means necessary including; execution, whipping, incarceration, and ostracism . Despite the partial autonomy,there is growing dissatisfaction, mostly among ordinary Italians, at the financial oppression. Insurgents seek to subvert the Austrian domination. The Austrian aristocracy inhabits the city to keep a tight rule on its interests.

Rumor has it that the inn is used as a secret meeting place used by Italian rebels. Therefore, this place is constantly monitored by the Austrian police. A growing concern of the Governor of Trieste is an insurrection.

The city has prospered financially with its strategic location whom many rely on its ports. They are able to levy taxes on goods transported within its waters. Several major breweries have been established here by permit from the Habsburg Empire. Many pilgrims are attracted to its luxurious churches which have been fabled to prodcue great miracles. The shopping districts flourish as they are frequented by the wealthy travelers.Trieste inhabited the rich Burghers, merchants and craftsmen. Czech traders significantly affect the operation of the city, Imported goods from foreign countries, and dealing with the Mariners. Retailers are among the richest group of people in the city. They often become the target of rebel attacks and the Pirates.

In this turbulent time, a player begins his pilgrimage for adventure and danger.
